Lawn Mower Hut cover the best lawn mowers reviews for sale and is pleased to announce the launch of its scholarship program to help assist students who are in need of financial aid due to the rising costs of tuition fees and student life in general.
The winner of our scholarship program will receive $500, paid directly to the university or college to help with educational expenses. The scholarship will run annually with a deadline of 30th May each year.
Application Process
To participate and apply please read the following guidelines:
- Write an interesting and well crafted essay on the below topic and email it to scholarships@lawnmowerhut.com
- Include your contact details in the email and the name of the college or university you are currently attending.
- Applications MUST be received by 30th May 2017
Applications are welcome from current UK, US and Canadian students who are attending an accredited college or university.
Please note only one application is permitted per student and any abuse of the program will lead to immediate disqualification.
Essay Topic
All applicants are required to submit a 1500 words essay on the following topic:
“How garden designs have changed in the last 100 years and what has influenced the changes”
All essays will be checked for plagiarism. Please also proof read your content and correct any grammatical errors. Any submissions that do not meet quality guidelines will be disqualified from the scholarship.
Content will be graded on the following:
Writing style
Thoroughly researched
Grammar
Eligibility
In order to be eligible for the scholarship program you must be an existing student from the UK. US or Canada in an accredited college or university.
Payment Process
The deadline for applications is 30th May 2017. We will announce the winner two weeks after the deadline has passed. The winner must be able to show proof of their student status or they will be disqualified and the award will go to the next suitable applicant.
Payment of $500 will be made direct to the College or University’s financial aid office who will then transfer the money to the winning student.
